Body Pump

I’ve been into sports since I was six so it would be a shame to neglect that aspect of my life here. I practiced aikido until I was 18 and I recommend it to all the girls and moms who don’t know where to enroll their female child. Aikido is self-defense and the moves are elegant and simple. As if you’re dancing. That’s what it looks like when the technique is done properly. After aikido, I devoted myself to fitness because my other commitments left time only for that form of physical activity. Fitness was easy to fit into my busy schedule, so to speak  To be honest, I’m not the kind of person to give advice on diets and such but you can always ask me about anything related to physical training. Last couple of years, I’ve been a huge fan of Les Mills programs and today I’ll introduce you to the Body Pump.

Body Pump is an intensive training of strength. Every muscle group is done separately, with the weights of your choice depending on your physical condition. Women often shy away from the weights because they think that they’ll end up too “pumped up” but that’s much harder to accomplish then you might imagine. The training which includes weights is perfect for muscle definition and – combined with some aerobics – for losing weight as well. Check out the Body Pump and dare to give it a try!
